BF-MEGA has been specifically optimized for high-speed applications. Compared to a traditional universal film such as BF-Universal, it offers improved smoothness at high speeds, more stable seal lines under stress, and an optimized formulation for high-speed packaging lines with high cycle rates. Its gloss and transparency are at least on par with those of a universal film—while delivering significantly better performance.
The BF-MEGA is compatible with all standard packaging machines—from semi-automatic angle-sealing machines to fully automatic high-speed side-sealing machines and bundle packers. The film is available as flat film and half-tube film, with a core diameter of 76 or 152 mm, and can thus be precisely tailored to the specifications of your packaging machine.
The optimal film thickness depends on your product, the processing speed, and the desired protective properties. As a rule of thumb: Type 15 (12 µm) for lightweight products and maximum thickness reduction; Type 19 (15 µm) and Type 25 (19 µm) as versatile standard thicknesses; Type 30 (25 µm) and Type 37 (30 µm) for heavy or delicate products requiring increased protection.
