Environmental protection and sustainability are of the utmost importance to our company. We don’t just talk—we take action!
- Our entire company, including our production facilities, is powered 100% by renewable energy sources—in an environmentally friendly and oil-free manner. The remaining electricity we purchase comes exclusively from green energy sources.
- A 341.75-kWp photovoltaic system on our company’s roof generates a large portion of our electricity needs. The entire building is heated exclusively by modern heat pumps—we do not use any fossil fuels.
- We are also consistently committed to sustainability when it comes to mobility: Our vehicle fleet has already been largely converted to electric and hybrid vehicles. In addition, we have eight charging stations for electric cars, each with a charging capacity of 22 kW.
- Recycling processes and the sustainable use of raw materials are an area that we are constantly optimizing and improving.
- We consider it our responsibility to ensure that our production and delivery processes are sustainable and environmentally friendly. That is why we ship our products in a way that is fully environmentally conscious.
- Research and continuous innovation in the field of film packaging make us pioneers in the area of environmentally friendly and food-safe film packaging. Our biodegradable BOPP-BIO film and our range of recyclable films—all of which are, of course, food-safe—reflect our commitment to sustainability.
- We produce our polyolefin shrink films, which are made from 100% sugarcane and contain no petroleum at all, with a CO2 reduction of approximately 60 percent across the entire production chain.

Our concrete steps toward greater sustainability
- 100% of energy generated from renewable sources
- 100% of the energy used by our company is renewable and is generated through solar power and the use of heat pumps. Any electricity that we do not generate ourselves is purchased exclusively as green electricity.
- Most of our vehicle fleet has been converted to electric and hybrid vehicles, supplemented by eight charging stations, each with a capacity of 22 kW.
- We consider it our responsibility to ensure that our production and delivery processes are sustainable and environmentally friendly. That is why we ship our products in a way that is fully environmentally conscious.
- The ongoing development and production of recyclable and biodegradablefilms a central tenet of our corporate philosophy—for the sake of the environment.

From product back into the cycle – anaerobic degradation as a sustainability solution
Our biodegradable films are designed for a closed-loop material cycle: After use, they can be recycled or biodegraded in a landfill. This anaerobic degradation process simultaneously enables energy recovery, reduces landfill volume, and lowers the carbon footprint—while minimizing the impact on soil, air, and water.
