Hood Shrink Machine by Schlichter GmbH
The process uses half-tube films, which are loaded into the packaging machine with the opening facing forward. The product is placed into the film by hand and fed into the sealing and shrinking zone along with the film.
The machine's transparent plexiglass cover is closed manually, while a pulse-controlled seam weld is applied on all sides at the same time.
A precisely controlled hot-air blower shrinks the film material using heat, causing it to fit snugly around the item. The machine features an electromagnetic sealing mechanism with precise control of the sealing time.
While the sealing and shrinking process is underway, the operator can already place the next product in the film.
