These modern film banding machines, also known as bundle packaging machines or bundle wrappers, are primarily used for shrink-banding bulk containers. The machines operate with top and bottom film layers and, after sealing by the continuously heated cross-sealing die, form a film curtain into which the products to be packaged are fed.
After being wrapped in shrink film, the packages are fed directly into the under-air shrink tunnel—which is designed for optimal airflow—and shrunk using an electronically controlled hot-air circulation system. The film material protruding from the sides is shrunk during this process, but can also be pressed down further using pressure rollers if necessary.

Simple quality in bundling machines
Our bundling machines are state-of-the-art machines featuring advanced technical specifications and a robust, durable design. The automatic film-wrapping machines are controlled by a Delta PLC; a Siemens PLC is available as an option.
When products are fed via an infeed conveyor, length detection is performed by a photocell. The following product feeding methods are available: pneumatic feed, infeed conveyor, and 90° feed with pneumatic feed.
The machine is generally equipped with an integrated shrink tunnel, designed to match the machine's working width.
