Schlichter’s BF-Protective series is an opaque polyolefin (POF) shrink film available in three colors: white (W), black (B), and gray (G). All three variants are 5-layer, cross-linked, electronically cross-linked, and offer shrinkage rates of up to 88%—while also providing extreme tear and puncture resistance. As a monomaterial, they are 100% recyclable in the LDPE04 stream and, of course, food-safe.
Unlike privacy films or window films, which are applied to glass surfaces, BF-Protective is an industrial packaging film that is shrunk tightly and wrinkle-free around the product during the shrinking process—providing both complete privacy and mechanical protection in one.
